Do You Need Malware and Spyware Removal Guides?

Someone asked me recently about where to find malware and spyware removal guides.

For the most part, when you run your antispyware or anti-malware software, the software itself is your guide. However, for those REALLY stubborn infections, you may need a little extra help.

Free virus scans, free malware scan, and free spyware scans are the way to go in my opinion, since they doesn’t cost anything to try.


One website I utilize as a malware and spyware and virus removal guide is Symantec.com (the site for Norton Antivirus). It usually has some sort of removal instructions for viruses and malware above and beyond what you might find within your current software.

You might also check out YouTube and do a search for the exact infection you’re trying to get rid of. There are TONS of tutorials like this on that site too!
